Individuals or groups ages 16+ may volunteer.

Youth between 10-15 years old may volunteer with an adult/leader supervisor.

Get Involved and Make a Difference

At the North American Sand Soccer Championships, our volunteers are the heart and soul of our event. They play an integral role in creating a safe, fun, and memorable experience for all of our players and spectators. With their dedication and hard work, volunteers ensure that every match on the sun-soaked sands is smooth and enjoyable.

We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities that typically require just four hours of your time, and these roles are available before, during, and after the championship. Whether you choose to volunteer individually or with a friend, we welcome your support and enthusiasm. Be sure to mark your calendars, as signups for our volunteer opportunities will open in March 2025. Join us in making the North American Sand Soccer Championships an unforgettable event for all!

VOLUNTEER ROLES NEEDED

HRSC Load In / Load Out : Pre-Tournament

  • Work outdoors loading equipment, signage, and supplies to trucks at HRSC.
  • Various shift available.​ This shift will be loading the truck at the HRSC only.
  • This is physical work and may require some lifting.
  • Proper attire and shoes for weather and working conditions required (sturdy shoes recommended; no flip-flops for loading/unloading). Bring water, sunscreen. Work gloves recommended.
  • Ages 16+

Field Set Up: Pre-Tournament

  • Work outdoors assisting with field/goal setup, repair and any equipment problems.
  • This is physical work and may require some lifting.
  • Proper attire and shoes for weather and working conditions required (sturdy shoes recommended; no flip-flops for loading/unloading). Bring water, sunscreen. Work gloves recommended.
  • Age 16+

Tent Support: During Tournament

  • Monitor activity on designated set of fields, assist with scorekeeping, serve as a runner for referees & event staff and answer basic questions for players and parents.
  • You will be provided with instruction on site. Experience not required.
  • Age ​16+

U.S. Open Support: During Tournament

  • Monitor activity on designated set of fields, assist with scorekeeping, serve as a runner for referees & event staff and answer basic questions for players and parents.
  • You will be provided with instruction on site. Experience not required.
  • Age ​16+

Field Breakdown: Post Tournament

  • Work outdoors assisting with field/goal break down at the oceanfront.
  • This is physical work and may require some lifting.
  • Proper attire and shoes for weather and working conditions required (sturdy shoes recommended; no flip-
    flops for loading/unloading). Bring water, sunscreen. Work gloves recommended.
  • Age 16+ or Age 10+ (with adult supervision)

Event Load Out: Post Tournament

  • Work outdoors unloading equipment, signage and supplies from trucks at HRSC. This role will start at the oceanfront and end at HRSC.
  • Various shift available.​  
  • This is physical work and may require some lifting.
  • Proper attire and shoes for weather and working conditions required (sturdy shoes recommended; no flip-flops for loading/unloading). Bring water, sunscreen. Work gloves recommended.
  • Age 16+
