2020 Men’s and Women’s U.S. Open

The North American Sand Soccer Championships' U.S. Open started in 2001 to attract top domestic and international teams as the sport grew in popularity and expanded across  the globe. Initially titled the "U.S. National Finals," the U.S. Open was the first event of its kind in the United States to offer a significant cash purse. Since 2001, participants representing over twenty countries have made their way to Virginia Beach to participate in the tournament. In 2018, sixteen teams competed for the $25,000 purse in three days of intense action.

“The North American Sand Soccer Championships is one of the most vivid and thrilling beach soccer competitions in the world. As we always say, it is an event every beach soccer player, coach or fan should experience, at least, once in their life,”  Joan Cusco, Executive Vice President, Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW).
