Dear Concessionaire:

You are invited to apply for a vendor spot in the 2019 North American Sand Soccer Championships - the largest weekend beach soccer festival in the United States, held in Virginia Beach, VA. Last year’s event included over 1000 teams with 10,000 participants and a weekend boardwalk attendance over 200,000. It was also the site of the U.S. Open National Men’s Finals in a 3,000 seat stadium located on the sand at 24th Street. This year’s festival, scheduled for June 7-9, will be between 12th Street and 37th Street and will feature events such as Coed Beach Flag Football, Beach Field Hockey, and musical entertainment.

The Championships will again offer food vendor, retail and marketing sites this year, strategically placed in high profile areas, offering a mix of product categories. You are invited to submit your application as a concessionaire at this “blast in the sand.”

To be considered for one of our selective vendor spots, you must submit a completed application and deposit of $500.00 (per vendor location) by April 19th, 2019. Payments will be processed when received. Payment of vendor fees does not constitute acceptance. NASSC will notify vendors of acceptance status. Vendors not accepted will receive a refund of any fees paid.

Vendors who fail to participate once accepted will not receive a refund.




Important Information

The City of Virginia Beach has in place food and merchandise vendor policies specific to Oceanfront events.

Regulations and requirements are outlined in downloadable forms from our website. Please review these policies prior to submitting an application to the Event. Information and requirements set by the City are subject to change.

The policies, overseen by the City’s Resort Management Office (RMO) and Fire Marshal’s Office (FMO), significantly affect vendors who COOK food at the event. FOOD VENDORS CAN COOK ON THE SAND, BUT NEED A PLATFORM TO SUPPORT – SEE INFORMATION PROVIDED ON DOWNLOADABLE PDF SHEETS.

Vendor placement will once again be on the sand for 2019.  Limited Stadium Boardwalk locations are available for Food, Retail, and Marketing vendors (additional vending fees apply).

Acceptance of Stadium Boardwalk vendors is at the total discretion of the NASSC Committee.  Acceptance of all other vendors is at the total discretion of the City of Virginia Beach.

Placement of booths is at the total discretion of the NASSC Committee.

Our participants have constantly asking for HEALTHIER options, per the surveys we conduct.

All vendors (food and non-food), including Sponsors, setting up locations at the Event, etc. must fill out the NASSC Vendor Agreement as part of the Vendor Application or Sponsor Vending form.

Fees And Payments

  • $1,500 per site up to 10‘ x 20’ – Stadium Boardwalk location *Acceptance of these vendors is at the total discretion of the NASSC Committee
  • $1,000 per site up to 10‘ x 20’ – All other locations *Acceptance of these vendors is at the total discretion of the City of Virginia Beach

Vendors will be invoiced for deposit upon submitting application for deposit and must make all payments online by credit or debit card. Checks and other forms of payment are not accepted.

Payment of $500 must be submitted for consideration of the Vendor application.

Remaining balance of vendor fees must be received on or before the deadline of May 10, 2019.

Vendors who have not completed payment will not be considered for the Event.
